The bungalow cottages are built on the island's hillside to provide a great view of Coron Bay. Each cottage has its own terrace and hammock to relax in the shade or to enjoy the most exquisite of sunsets.

Discovery Suites is the perfect quiet and tranquil place to relax. Wake up in the morning to the sound of the birds and open your eyes to a spectacular view of the bay.

All the cottages use local natural materials to keep the rooms cool. They are tile floored and available with twin or triple-beds, with en-suite shower, sink and toilet. All rooms have fans.

Environmental Policy

Discovery resort cares much for the local environment. We are licensed with a Special Land Usage Permit issued by the Dept of Natural Environment and Natural Resource, operate under DENR Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC) and actively support the protection of the delicate mangrove surrounding the island.

Resort Activities

We are a resort catering for both divers and non-divers.

For divers Discovery Divers provides SCUBA and technical diving. Courses from Open Water through Extended Range Diver to Advanced Wreck Diver. Discovery Divers is a TDI/SDI 5 star instructor Development Center.

For non-divers we run adventure trips from the resort on our own boats. We can take you quiet white sand island beach, the Coron Island rock formations, sea-life and giant clam beds, or unwind in the Makinit Hot Springs.

Siete Pecados is a cluster of 7 islets in a marine protection area. With an abundance of corals and fish of many colors. One of Coron's best snorkeling sites.

Kayangan Lake one of the Philippines' cleanest lakes. Take a dip in the refreshing turquoise waters. The refreshing lake is lined by sheer limestone cliffs.

Twin Lagoon has a small opening in a limestone wall linking two lagoons. Enjoy the limestone walls and coral reefs. At low tide swim the narrow channel between the lagoons. At high tide swim the underwater tunnel.

91 beach is a small, white, sandy beach with crystal clear waters and plenty of underwater wildlife to explore.
